School Bus Plunges Into Gorge In Himachal's Kangra
Minimum of 29 individuals, including 26 students, were killed Monday after a tuition based school transport fell into a crevasse in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra region.
The gorge was over a 100 feet profound.
The driver and two teachers are dead. It is said that 11 of the 39 students on board are harmed.
As indicated by the news organization IANS, the vast majority of the students - from the Wazir Ram Singh Pathania Memorial Public School - were from Class 5 or underneath.
The kids were on route to home when their transport fell into the gorge close to the Gurchal town on the Nurpur-Chamba street, somewhere in the range of 300 km from Shimla, IANS revealed.
Observers said the driver presumably lost control of the vehicle, which slipped into the gorge, the news organization said.
