Shrinkhala Khatiwada Crowned Miss Nepal 2018

Apr 11, 2018-Shrinkhala Khatiwada has been delegated Miss Nepal 2018 at the 23rd Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal 2018 event in the Capital on Wednesday evening.

A perpetual inhabitant of Hetauda, Khatiwada, 22, beat 24 contenders to win the title.

An architect by profession, Khatiwada was announced as the winner by a last year's winner Nikita Chandak at the function held in Hotel Annapurna.

Alongside the crown, Khatiwada will represent Nepal in the upcoming Miss World Pageant.

After winning the Miss Nepal title, she posted a photograph on her Instagram account. In her caption she stated: "Words are often inadequate to express my joy for your help. For sharing my dreams; for your invaluable help, support and patience, I will like to say thank you to all."

In the grand finale, Manita Devkota of Gorkha packed away the title of Miss Universe while Priya Sigdel of Kathmandu won the title of Miss Earth and Ronali Amatya, 22, was declared Miss International.

Devkota got the crown from Nagma Shrestha. She will represent Nepal in the Miss Universe.

Likewise, Sigdel got the crown from Miss Earth 2017 Rogina Shrestha. She will represent Nepal in the Miss Earth.

In similar manner, Amatya got the crown from Miss Nepal International 2017 Niti Shah. She will represent Nepal in the Miss International.

Govinda Parajuli , a jury part, asked the inal question in the last round of the competition. The inquiry was: What three tasks/assignments should be performed to make prosperous Nepal and happy Nepali?

Khatiwada said that creating and making openings for works would be the main assignment to make Nepal prosperous and make people cheerful. Besides, she said venture on business enterprise and thirdly, she said we should love and care the nature we have.Lastly, she said we Nepali ought to characterize Nepal as not three crore populace but rather three crore minds with creativity and innovation.

Shrinkhala Khatiwada owned the title of Beautiful Hair too while Sahara Lama won the title of Miss Friendship, Mahima Singh, Ashma Dhungana, Ronali Amatya, Manita Devkota and Astha Sakh won the title of Miss Photogenic, Miss Intellectual, Miss Talent, Miss Glamor and Miss Confident respectively.

In similar manner, Laxmi Paudel won the title of Miss Punctual though Ashma Dhungana packed away the title of Miss Athlete, Megha Shrestha, Sandhya Adhikari and Priya Sigdel won the title of Miss Fascino, Miss Popular Choice and Beauty With The Purpose.

Sunil Shakya, Ashishma Nakarmi, Bhawana Ghimire, Rabindra Mishra, Shreehar Rana, Ivana Manandhar, Deepak Bista, Pratistha Amatya Bista, Nikita Paudel and Raju Shah were the members from the jury.
