KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court suspended the hearing on the writ documented on the re-decisions in Bharatpur Metropolitan City till July 23.

A joint seat of Om Kumar Mishra and Purushottam Bhandari chosen to direct the hearing on Sunday after time compels today.

Prior, the hearing was conceded till June 12 because of absence of time

The writ was documented by the CPN-UML contender for individual from Bharatpur Metropolis 19 Gunjaman Bishwakarma and backer Tulasi Pandey looking for resumption of vote numbering.

Decision officers had stopped vote checking in Bharatpur Metropolis after 90 tally papers were torn purportedly by CPN-Maoist Center units on May 29.

The Election Commission had shaped a three-part checking group to test into the episode identified with tearing of vote papers by CPN-Maoist Center units in course of tallying votes of ward no 19 of Bharatpur Metropolitan City.
