Man accused in rape-murder of 14-yr-old arrested

Police have captured a man for the assault and murder of a high school young lady five-and-a-half years back.

A joint police group conveyed from the Central Regional Police Office, Hetauda and Crime Investigation Department secured the charged Shyam Raut from Andaman and Nicobar Islands of India.

Raut had assaulted a 14-year-old young lady of then Sainpu VDC of Ramechhap locale on January 19, 2008. He was on the keep running from that point forward.

As indicated by DIG Ganesh KC of the Central Regional Police Office, Hetauda, Raut will be made open on Monday.
